UNMCK - UNITED NATIONS MEMORIAL CEMETERY IN KOREA

On 3 June, Mrs. Nicole Benard, the widow of French Korean War veteran Mr. Raymond Benard, visited the UNMCK, as she has done every May since her husband's interment here in May 2015.

Mrs. Benard, 89, says she comes every year because she loves her husband and wishes to meet and speak with him. She visited his grave with her daughter and students from Bukyoung National University, who thanked her.

Mrs. Benard returned home to France of 4 June, promising to return next year if her health permits.
