For those who gave me warmth, dear veterans

Hello, I am Yeji Han, a high school student living in Korea. I'm not sure if my last letter was delivered well. These days, Corona is confusing all over the world. Are you taking good care of your health? Always be careful when you go out and take care of your health! Our winter vacation should have ended on February 23rd and started my school life on that day. Even so, students could not go back to school from now on. About a week or two ago, the government announced schools to extend their leave of absence and stop students from going to school. Many people practice social distance from each other, so it is hard to meet friends, and classes like acadenies have been suspended, so most students including me, are studying alone. As this Corona disease is a very unpredictable and rapidly prevalent condition, I hope you will also prepare for unpredictable situations, pay more attention to health care and be happier. On the other hand, the free time received by the postponement of the school year is very beneficial. It gave me time to ask myself basic questions, such as how much better I would live the next year, the reason for my existence, the future I would move forward. Now that you spend more time alone than your normal days, this time will probably give you time to do what you like without any restrictions. I hope you also spend this time happily and warmly for your life. As I spend more time alone thinking about many things. I think I'm here because there were veterans who were there for us when our country was having the hardest time. Now that the whole world is going through Corona together, I feel even more grateful to the veterans who helped us through the Korean War. I was a little kid who didn't know anything about it when I was ignorant of our country's history, but as I learned more about it, I learned that I'm living in the world thanks to the help and consideration of so many people. Thank you so much for giving me the warmth of my life! I've been calling my grandparents a lot. Not only about health, but also about the atmosphere of my neighborhood in this current situation of Corona, what I'm living in, what I'm doing, to take care of their health, how I love them, and how I'm enjoying these days by myself. This letter suddenly reminded me of my grandparents. I didn't see your face, I didn't hear your voice and I didn't call you, but I think it's the same thing that you gave me a day that's getting me feel so warm, and there's a hidden gratitude in every word. When I visited Korean veterans a few months ago, it was a very happy and enjoyable experience. But what I hope is to meet and greet the worldwide great veterans who have sacrificed themselves for Korea from all around the world like some of my friends. Until then, stay healthy! I promise to visit you one day. Thank you, Love you and Take Care
