Dear. Korean war veterans Hello, korean war verterans! I am Chae Young Lee from South Korea. I am living in Seoul and I go to Jingwan middle school. Year 2020 came and I became second grade but sadly, I can't go to school because of corona virus. For my memory, the corona virus started in China Wuhan in year 2019, December. First, it was not serious so I was not afraid and just live as usual. Since it was winter vacation, I spend almost my day in my house playing games, watching television, and reading books. Then in Korea, the victim of the corona virus 19 started to appear. The patients number grew slowly, and few of them were cured and they were released from quarantine. And our president Moon told us to live like usual because the corona virus will disappear soon. When the winter vacation end, I went to school. The students were not different form usual and they didn't wear mask because they believe that Korea was safe from corona virus 19. Unfortunately, in Daegu, the super propagator came up. She is 31 patient and she is a believer of Shinceonji. Shinceonji is a pseudo religion. When one people go to it, he or she will never come out from there. The believer of Shinceonji prays by sitting next to each other very closely so when someone is suffering corona virus, almost all people can be infected. So because of the 31 patient, the patient of corona virus dramatically increase. Also, the people dead because of the virus. I was so sad and realize that Korea isn't safe now from corona. I was afraid. I thought that the public places have to be prevented such as academy, company, and mart. But the goverment isn't show any action. It made me very angry because I heard some strange story about the president. The news said that the president gave a lot of masks to China even thought Korea is lack of the mask. Also, he didn't prevented Chinese coming to Korea. Taiwan, for example, prevented Chinese immediately when the corona virus started. So there was just a few confirmed people. It was just a news but I thought that if it is true, our president is like a spy. these days, since we need to buy masks, every Monday, i go and by a mask at the pharmacy. Also, I have to go to the school when the March started, but it first delayed to the next week and then delayed to next next week and then delayed to April. I want to go to school and meet my friends. The number of corona virus patient is not decreasing. If this continues, I might have to go to the school 3 months or more later. I want to go to school really. Because of the corona virus, I learned many lesson. I think in the future, the humans will be disappear by the virus. Oh and are your country safe? I hope you are safe from the virus. And thank you for helping us Korea during Korea war.
