76th UN Day Ceremony

The 76th UN Day Ceremony took place in the UNMCK. This event was hosted by Busan Metropolitan City and was organized by Busan Foundation of International Cooperation.
The Ceremony was attended by 100 guests, including the Mayor of Busan, Chairman of the CUNMCK, and the Ambassadors of the Sending-States.
After the presentation of the national flags and the pledge of allegiance, Mr. Park Hyung-joon, the Mayor of Busan Metropolitan City, H.E. Philip Turner, the Chairman of the CUNMCK (Ambassador of New Zealand to the ROK), and H.E. Ham Sang Wook, the Deputy Minister for Multilateral and Global Affairs of the ROK MOFA made speeches.
The wreaths were laid to honor the UN fallen. The wreath of President Moon Jae-in was laid by the Mayor of Busan Metropolitan City; the wreath of Secretary-General Antonio Guterres was laid by Custodian HUR Kang-il of the UNMCK; and the Chairman of the CUNMCK laid a wreath on behalf of other member nations.
