UNMCK - UNITED NATIONS MEMORIAL CEMETERY IN KOREA

Hello, my name is Yang Se-yeong and I am 18 years old living in Korea. This week is one of the biggest holidays in Korea. I'd like to go down to the countryside to see my grandparents, but I couldn't because of the Coronavirus that is popular all over the world. Korea is said to be safe because of its relatively well-preserved quarantine, but some strange people have caused the virus to spread again. But now many people are working hard, and the spread is showing signs of declining again. Because of the corona, I can't go out much, and my daily routine is continuing, mainly at home. Now that I'm in this situation, I'm very grateful for my past life. So I felt a lot of gratitude for the veterans who made this everyday life possible. Because Corona is still in progress, all students in Korea temporarily do not go to school because of the danger of Corona. All the academies are also offering classes online. I want to go to school and meet my friends and play, but on the other hand, I spend more time with my family because I spend more time at home. Thanks to Corona, I have more memories with my family. If it's a good thing about the corona, it's a good thing. In addition, as many factories are not going back due to the corona, fine dust from China has decreased to an alarming extent, so I can see the blue sky well. Also, my time at home got so long that I got a new hobby because I was so bored. I was always interested in cooking, but I tried to make spaghetti by myself, one of my favorite dishes, and eventually I tried to cook more and cooking became my hobby. When I eat what I made myself, I feel happy and happier when the results were delicious. Recently, I've become interested in baking, so I'm trying to bake it. The first goal I set while baking is to make and eat pizza by myself. It wasn't that difficult and the ingredients seemed relatively easy to get. But my mom is trying to stop me, saying the flour is making my house messy. As for my family, I have parents and an older brother who is 3 years older than me. My brother loves to sing. But because of the corona, the karaoke room was closed, so he decided to make his own karaoke room and is making soundproof booths at home. Even if my parents tell him not to make room for it, but he just make it. I don't think it's a bad idea to stop for a while. Although the world is suffering from Corona, and many people are struggling economically and mentally, I think humans will soon win the Korona war as many people are trying. I've heard that vaccines have been developed everywhere, and I feel like there's not much time left. Once again, I am very thanks about your hard work, and I want to model you about your braveness.
