Revisit Program for the Veterans and Family Members

Approximately 200 Korean War veterans and their family members from the 22 sending states were able to visit the UNMCK and paid their respect. This revisit program was sponsored by the ROK Ministry of Patriots and Veterans Affairs (MPVA).
The visitors simultaneously laid a wreath in front of their national flags in the Symbolic Area at 10:30. The Republic of Korea was represented by the Deputy Minister Yoon Jong Jin of the MPVA. He laid a wreath in front of the UN flag in the Symbolic Area.
* Australia, Canada, and France observed a separate ceremony in front of their national memorial either before or after the official ceremony.
