Dear. The bravest Korean war Veterans
Hello! It’s been a month since I wrote the letter. For a month, there were a lot of things in the world. So, today, I want to say about those things.
The first thing is the U.S. presidential election. Since 2017 January, Donald Trump was the 45th president of America. He was kind and generous to American but he was firm to other countries people, especially to Chinese. His tenure was expired so American had an election of president. By the way, my friend and I had a bet about who is the winner of the U.S. presidential election. I bet to Joe Biden and my friend bet to Donald Trump. And as the result, I won the bet. She promised me to buy the potable water. As I saw the commitment of two candidates, Joe Biden focused on the environment. And Donald Trump focused on the industry of America. I like the commitment of Joe Biden because America is the strongest country in the world and America is the country that generates the most environmental pollution. So I thought America needs to economize the resources to save the Earth. So, I hope that Joe Biden would be the president of U.S.
The second thing is the vaccine of COVID 19. In November, one of the company which is related with COVID 19 published that they made the vaccine of COVID 19. This news was the very big issue. Many countries in the world started to buy the vaccine of that company. By this vaccine, many people in the world said next year, we could put off the mask which really stuffy. Also, I really hope to put off the mask as soon as possible. I want to live without the mask and I want to face my friends and teacher’s face directly.
By the way, this year, 2020, is very meaningful year to us. It’s the year for the 70th anniversary of the Korean War, 25 June. Did you know that? I was not. I did not know about that although I am Korean. I want to thank you for fighting for Korea, for little country’s freedom, by the way. Thanks to you, Korea became awesome country to live. I will not forget your sacrifice and courage forever until I die. Except me, there are a lot of people who thanks to your sacrifice and courage. Korea was a little, and a weak country. But thanks to your sacrifice, Korea became an awesome country in the world. Have you ever been to Korea, after the Korean War? If you didn’t I hope you to come and see how advanced Korea has been. Korea is still developing. If I were you, I could’t participate in the Korea war. Because I am a coward. Although I don’t and can’t know your fear in the battel field, I can know that you did a great job for other people. I learned about your sacrifice in History class. I was really moved at your actions. I always remember your sacrifice and courage. No other people in the world can say I am proud. And I think we can some day!! I will wait until that day! I will write the letter to you again!! Bye! See you soon!!
